Big ‘Ol Dodge & update on the scrubs

So Dodge-ball had his 2-month appointment a couple weeks ago. Basically… my baby could eat your toddler.  Dodge weighed in at 14 pounds, 8 oz and was 25 inches long.  He’s 97% on all charts and wears 9-month clothes.  The other day I got him a #10 value meal at McDonald’s.

It’s been fitty years since I’ve put up pics of the kids – here’s some of them and the low down on what they’ve been doing:

Dodge:  best baby experience I’ve ever had, too bad it took me 4 kids to figure it out.  He sleeps 6-8 hours at night, sleeps while the kids are screaming, and LOVES his brothers and sister and all their sloppy kisses.  I told Denton I have to pull a Michael Jordan and retire from birthing while I’m at the top of my game.   The Cash onesie is courtesy of Aunt Natalie, of course.

Rocky:  funniest kid ever.  Yesterday he told me he was a man.

Fischer:  starts kindergarten in the fall and I can’t BELIEVE it!  Dodge and him are best friends.  Fisch likes to take all of his train tracks and Lincoln Logs and make huge cities in the front room.  But then he has a break down when Rocky comes thru and tears it all apart.  i don’t blame him.

Leo:  before Christmas she had her first piano recital and play at school on the same night.   She is SO OLD and I was thinking about her graduating high school and cried a touch.  Leo wants to be a Rockette when she grows up – i told her i’m ALL about it as long as she has a current temple recommend and gets me free tickets.

Can’t believe it’s 2010 – where the heck did 2009 go???

GINA! It’s about freakin’ time you posted something! I am dying over A. Leo wanting to be a Rockette B. Dodge being a man baby/giant C. Rocky declaring he’s a man & D. Fisch Dog & Brother are going to be in kindergarten! I might as well get my bed at the senior center right now! And since Natalie has so much experience she can take care of us. ‘Nuf said! Sorry I stalk you like crazy but I’m glad to see things are going so well with 4 kids b/c maybe, but highly unlikely for a long time, I’ll be brave enough to have another child since Chumby is going to kill me off! That kid needs a sedative. Talk to you soon! Love & miss you fitty times over!

    David vs Dodge 2020!

We miss your rough and tumble boys. Just wait ’til Dodge turns into a train wreck crawler. Then see what Fischer has to say about it. Rocky and Dodge are going to tag team it.

    Miss you tons.

I could just about ditto about my 4th. She’s an angel and I have officially quit at the top of my game!!! Vili got the snip – -
She’s a giant too – only in height though 90% and 75% others. These two should meet and marry in the future. My blog isn’t updated but facebook has pics of the babe. Jacquelyn. She is a beauty.

Your kids are adorable. Glad you’re still alive.

I am so lucky to witness these little people all the time. And since I am the grandma, I can tell you they are the cutest kids ever. Just like all my other grandkids. I love that Leo wants to be a rockette. I showed them my video and book one time that grandpa gave me as a reminder of my NYC trip with him a few years ago for Christmas. He said he’d only take me once and got me the video so I could watch it over and over Who knew Leo liked it so much. Fischer kept asking…how do all their legs gets the same length? Rocky said these girls are pretty…..the little charmer that he is. Dodgie is so adorable and easy going with all the action. Grandpa makes him laugh out loud. And I better stop talking…..you would think this was my blog :) Grandma’s…..how obnoxious.

    Marissa,
I just dropped in on your blog and I guess it’s been too long because I did NOT know that you have FOUR kids! Crazy. How are you surviving? Looks like you’re doing great. I can’t believe how big Leo is. Where are you guys living now? Cute family. Thank goodness for blogs so I can keep tabs on everyone.
