My sis-in-law Lindsay is a fellow Coupon Cutter… the other day she asked me if someone could be cheap and classy at the same time.
My reply: no one has to know I paid fitty cent for my class!!!!

I saw this thing on Oprah the other day about people trying to save money and get back to basics and they highlighted this woman who saved 70% on her groceries. The grand total for her buggy was like $130 and after coupons and swiping her grocery store card she only spent $37 bucks. She’s been doing this for the last 15 years and has saved over $70,000. She got a web site where she explains how to do this and lists many major grocery stores in every state and updates their sale items for that week and gives you coupons. I think I want to start doing that…that would totally rock if I could save that kind of money! Anyways, her website is, couponmom.com.
And for the record, I wasn’t worried about how you paid for your Disney Trip I was just so excited that you took that bull by the horns and went on an awesome vacation. You Rock! and you need to call me and Emily back…we left a message for you last week.

For reals! I Love being thrifty, cheap, frugal…..whatever you want to call it! You need to get a charterbank.com account. It’s a checking with 6+%–I think it’s called turbo checking. I make a lot of money every month for letting them hold my money. I miss CVS–we had one when we lived in Miami—I was there everyday. I did not have kids then so it was a breeze!
