I heart Ohio

Our good friends Ben and Tara Hale came up last weekend on their way back to Ohio from OBX.  They brought their cute little boys, Max and Seth. We had a great time just hanging out and catching up – it was like no time had passed since the last time I’d seen them.  The kids got along well and had fun – I think Fischer judo-chopped Max a couple times but hopefully Max has recovered and learned some “new moves” from Fisch.

So to all my other Ohio friends – talk to Tara cuz we made plans for a Girl’s Trip and you guys coming down to VA for some fun!

p.s. Tara, I was going to post the pic of you and I but I was looking toe up from the flo’ up so I didn’t – I like your button-up shirt! :)

So so sad I wasn’t there! And don’t worry about Fisch karate chopping Max. He gets it from my boys all the time so he should be used to it. Tara just left over here and we were talking about (well I can’t say right here on the internet) but we laughed about it and missed you–fill ya in later–phone call coming soon if I can ever find a quiet minute before 10:00pm! I miss you miss you miss you! Peace out! I know Tara just said that but I’m trying to be a part of that whole weekend.

I know we are chopped liver, but you will have to deal. Hopefully we can bond and I can lift your spirits, as someone that I don’t know scrubs my feet. I’m glad your friends came and you had a great visit and no Claire hasn’t told me to Kick down… just a matter of time.

I was on the phone and just clickin’ through some blogs and then when I got to yours, I thought (while still on the the phone) … wow pow… Marisas kids look just like Tara’s kids !! Then I read it and got that she visited you guys. Anyway …. it is the coolest to grow older together and watch your little nippers grow up. They are all sooooo dang cute. Give em all a big ol’ hug from Rob and Robin.
    love you

I came across your blog so randomly! Belle was in preschool with your neice Reagan, only I didn’t know she was your neice. Then Melissa and I went to the same high school. Anyway, I loved reading your blog. I’m totally adding your link to my blog so I can stay in touch. I miss your great sense of humor. You’ll have to see my blog where I call Benjamin a “taz” just like your little Fischer. Thanks for being a big part of what we love and miss about Ohio. I think of your great house, your neighborhood trick or treating, playing in the gym by your house, my baby shower. Great memories. Ohio was the best and I keep telling Danny it was because of the people we met there.
