bend it like beckham
Leo had her first soccer game yesterday. After some initial confusion about the direction of the goal for her team, she did awesome. They don’t keep score, but she had at least three goals. We had the whole fam plus grandma and her friend beth there cheering her on (and Marissa on the sidelines trash-talking the other team). Check out the pictures below (Leo’s #8) – I was there with both of my cameras (one video) looking like every over-wraught parent – all so you could see her in action.
Leo’s team is the Leopards — they’re fast and fierce. Leo even caused one injury (accidently–I think).

A. I love that the game ball is PINK! It’s all for the cure! B. Can Leo please be Marissa’s TWIN? They look more like twins the older Leo gets! D. Leo is a soccer star scoring all those goals! Wahoo! E. Why can I picture Marissa trash talking all to easily?:) F. I love that Leo’s team is the leopards! Where are the leopard print jerseys? THAT is awesome!

Leo is too cute! I can’t wait to see footage of the game. How fun that she and Grace are on the same team. Way to go Leo on making 3 goals!

I know how Leo can stratigize. Two words Red Rover. Way to go Leo, three goals. Way to keep the other team’s parents in their place.Trash talkin girl, you know who you are. You might need to give my boys a lesson. We played wii boxing for FHE and the trash talk was a little,… Let me just say my boys come up with some wierd phrases ” you are going down like a bamboo tree that I knocked down and… stepped on!” Blake.

hey Marissa–just got back from a Cici’s trip with Tara. We were remenissing about the good old times with the three of us when all together we only had four kids–man that was nice. Now just Tara and I have 5, not to mention 8 with your three. Holy kids! Anyway, good to catch up on your blog–missing you.

Nice Job Leo! Reagan has her first soccer game on Saturday. We will have to bring a soccer ball to the reunion so you guys can practice your skills!
