Fischer threw up yesterday, so Marissa took the kids to the doctor. Both Leo and Fischer have strep throat. Awesome. They were pretty lethargic yesterday, but they both woke up before 6:30 this morning and were crazy and playful as usual by the time we got up. So I guess the antibiotics have kicked in.
I felt a little bad because the other day Fischer had told me that he had two sore throats, but now that I think they’ve passed it on to me, I think we’re even.
Oh I’m so sorry for you guys! Sometimes don’t you secretly want them to stay sick just because they’re easier to handle? I know I do!:) Is that bad mothering? It’s just that when Rebecca is REALLY, TRULY sick she is so much more cooperative and compliant and that’s a nice change for me. So are you all couped up now? Just join NetFlix and get all the movies and TV you want! It’s so awesome!:)
I’m really needing some HML Gina time right about now! Denton, can you fly Gina out for my birth so that I can handle it? I’m afraid I might go psycho…or just pray really really hard that James wins that VA job so that I’m closer so if I need help, Gina is closer.:) FRRRRRRRRT!
I hear ya. I’m all for it. Marissa’s always nicer (and crazier) after she hangs out with you. Maybe she can be your doula, except for she might pass out.
Hi little Roman Family … sorry you are ALL not feeling very well! Hugs and loves to all of you.
Auntie Robin
Feel better soon!
Ahhh, I’m with Carrie Ann, I sometimes dread giving the kids Tylenol because it’s really not too bad to have some calm kids curled up in blankets on the couch. None of us are sick but we are stuck inside anyway–BLIZZARD!! Chris is stuck in Chicago with no hope of getting home–he’ll probably have to fly out for next weeks project from there–it’s the best ever. Anyway, not meaning to be negative, hope you guys feel better soon!
that’s horrible..we all just got over sickness..i hope you guys get better:)
Sorry to hear that the kids were sick…it’s the pits…we had a nasty few weeks a little bit ago…hey-p.s. don’t be shocked if one day this summer emily and I show up with our fidty little chiren’ to play for a few days unannounced…are you scared yet?!?
