The Valentine Aardvark is going to be in the Richmond Times Dispatch (VA) and the Tri-City Herald (WA)!!
I emailed our local VA paper and had an interview with a reporter tonight re: The Valentine Aardvark. She was really cool and funny (so now we’re best friends) and they’re sending a photographer to my house on Friday to take pics of the kids making their Valentine Aardvark pouches!!! The article comes out Tuesday, February 12. Also, my family in Washington had a interview with a reporter from their local paper and have a photog coming to their house too on Friday. Next stop: Oprah!
It’s been so great to get feedback from people saying they’re going to have the Valentine Aardvark start coming to their house!! I couldn’t think of a better way to honor my dad and remember him then by having other people join in this tradition that my family has been doing for years and years. I think dad is proud of us, not because his name is out there, but rather cuz it’s brought his family, and other families, together and we can focus on all the great memories from his life.
Happy Aardvarking!
He is a sweet and sneaky looking fellow. I think I like him and I think he should join our family traditions.
I love that! You better post the article when it is published! We need to get Aardvarking!:) Peath out!
I love this. What a professional looking website for the aardvark! How is the aardvark tied to Valentine’s Day? SO, I got your comment on my blog about your bro moving to the frozen tundra that is Wisconsin. We can totally hook him up with lots of info on everything. By the way, I’m glad you started a blog so we can get more stories about FurnaMom. : ) Hilarious!
